Going to take a hiatus for a while.
Peach and I finished marathoning Battlestar Galactica the other day - brilliant show. Seeing Jason Palmer’s fanart gave me the urge to doodle some of the characters myself. I love a lot of the characters in the show but alas it’s 4am and I should stop before I draw the entire colonial fleet.

Just been offered graduate work with BHP Billiton aahsdfsf
Starts Jan and is apparently 92k p/a???????? Holy shit
My internet has been so fucking slow lately. Finally managed to get to this point after spending 5 minutes trying to load the site.
Anyone know how you can actually stop loading certain tumblr posts? Like the massive gif ones? Beyond tumblr saviour that is.

Steff: Hahah more like just frustrated at it happening too many times? I don’t mind general excitement about the stuff, but if people are giffing The Big Reveal it really sours the experience/excitement.
Jing: Yeaaaah but I felt it was worth saying. My dash isn’t too bad but it’s unpredictable whether it will or won’t spoil me? Timezones often work against my favour too, seeing as people will be like “hey I’m going to post a bunch a stuff under this tag” at 3am my time and by the time I wake up it’s all over my dash.
Let’s talk movies. I rather enjoy movies - I even work in a dvd rental place part-time. Summer blockbuster flicks a guilty pleasure of mine, and since I’m also partial to comics, superhero flicks are doubly so.
Recently, Australia (and much of the world that is Not North America) have been getting earlier releases. This is great! For as long as I can remember, we have had to wait months - sometimes years - for the exact same product with little explanation as to why we had to wait so long. Frequently, I’d get spoiled because people who did get to see those films didn’t seem to peg onto the fact that the rest of the world is running on a different schedule. Sometimes, even if it is released the same day, I get spoiled because I didn’t watch it on opening night.
So when the new Marvel movies came out a day or a week earlier here, I try to be conscientious. I tag. I put comments under a read-more. I don’t explicitly outline the major spoilers, or create gifsets that show those spoilers. This happened with Wreck-It Ralph just recently, if you recall my earlier post.
Having a look at most of the major releases, so long as I do watch them opening night I’ll be safe from inadvertently spoiled. The one exception to this is Man of Steel, which Australia will see nearly two weeks after the US and the UK. Now, I’m not convinced on its quality just yet but I wouldn’t mind seeing it.
I’m prepared to blacklist “Man of Steel”,”MoS”, “Superman” etc etc in advance, but people do tend to get careless when they’re excited. When people get lazy though, then that’s just a bit rude.
But hey! Guess what’s coming out here early in the gap between MoS coming out in the US and Australia? This guy.

I’ll be happy to return the favour. (✿◡‿◡)
TLDR: Tag your goddamn gifsets/posts about new media because chances are you’re spoiling half the fucking globe. (✿๏‿๏)
Luna did a cool exercise the other day, drawing each of her characters bald and seeing if they were still identifiable. I got rid of facial hair as well here hahah.
I suppose if I were to do this truly they would all have a neutral expression but oh well. All my tegaki peeps, some used, some never used (sob)
